How I Finally Got Rid of Dark Eye Circles: Avoid This Common Beauty Mistake

For years, I struggled with dark circles and blue veins under my eyes, relying only on concealer. It didn't matter what brand of concealer I used or what color I applied, it never gave me the results I wanted. I kept on changing the brands and color of my concealer thinking that I was tackling the problem head on. Turns out, that was only half of the issue. The reason why my under eye veins and darkness weren't being fully covered was because concealer isn't enough on its own! How to Use a Color Corrector

Pro tip: before I use my color corrector, I use Ole Henriksen's Banana Bright Eye Cream as a primer to help moisturize the area so it doesn't get cakey once I put on my color corrector and concealer.

How to Use a Concealer

A good concealer works to cover imperfections such as blemishes, dark spots, or under-eye discoloration while blending into your skin tone. After applying a color corrector, the concealer helps create an even finish, hiding the corrected areas while providing natural-looking coverage. Choose a concealer that matches your skin tone or is slightly lighter, and always apply it after the color corrector for the most flawless, seamless coverage possible. This step ensures that the corrected areas are fully concealed and blended into the rest of your complexion. The best under eye concealer that I have found is from Clé De Peau.
